Job Description

 

As a Project Manager, you will work closely with the Product Care Sales Teams, prospects, customers and integration partners globally to provide project management and technical consultation all through the sales process. Project managers are responsible for the project scope definition, customer and application technical management, functional specification development, and project tracking from prospect to commissioning.  Project managers establish and maintain ownership of a project from the earliest sales stage through to the formal handoff to the ongoing service and support teams. 

 

  • Project Management – Own technical sales projects from the early discovery phase through the equipment commissioning. This includes working directly with our applications team Project Managers, integrator partners, each of the various Sealed Air Sales Team members, and our Automated Specialists.  
  • Enable sales growth through competent technical communication - Build deep understanding of customer needs through research, open-ended questioning, and analysis; Leverages deep product knowledge to design and deliver unique solutions to each customer; Driven to maintain a current knowledge base of available solutions for a wide variety of customer equipment applications
  • Cross Functional Team Leadership – Build and maintain effective working relationship across a broad spectrum of functional and strategic partners within the organization and among the Sealed Air customer base.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Independent, organized and disciplined with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with a focus upon developing solutions.
  • Accomplished computer skills; MS Office Suite, ERP System, and Integrated Technologies.
  • Occasional overnight traveling (meetings, training, customer site visits, trade shows)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively to all levels of prospect and client organizations, ranging from shop floor mechanic to “C” level administrators.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related field plus relevant work experience. 
  • 3-5 Years of industrial experience with industrial automated packaging systems typically seen in distribution centers. 
  • Strong technical background with associated job history. Must be able to demonstrate usage of technical knowledge in associated work history.
  • Must have strong project management capabilities. PMP Certification preferred
  • Ability for occasional travel overnight 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 
  • French as secondary language preferred.
