Job Description
A Sales Application Specialist works closely with the Sealed Air Sales Teams, Channel Partners, and Integration Partners to provide technical knowledge and deliver formal equipment quotations to support closing equipment sales. You will be responsible for capturing all pertinent technical details to an application, consulting with the appropriate teams to develop a solution, providing unique sales collateral to communicate equipment design concepts (i.e. samples, photos, video, etc.), and delivering a final factory quote. You will support technical equipment sales projects from the early discovery phase up to install and commissioning.
- Manage incoming application request for quotes (RFQ)
- Develop formal factory equipment quotations
- Consult as technical expert on distributor and end-user facing calls
- Interface with End-Use customers & Channel Partners
- Host Sales App calls and facilitate custom project conversations
- Process, create, and ship out customer specific samples
- Host in-house events such as training & customer equipment demonstrations
- Support managing demonstration room equipment
- Identify & communicate design enhancements
- Maintain and improve pricing tools
- Monitor and leverage Stock systems for sales
- Capture Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Business to influence process improvement and methodologies for the department
- Maintain a safe environment and participate in safety related activities to promote a safe working culture

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred (military equivalent work experience will be considered)
- 5+ years of professional experience
- 3+ years technical engagement with industrial equipment
- Expert communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and senior management
- Mechanic skills to setup and run industrial equipment
- Accomplished computer skills; MS Office 365 Suite, ERP System, and Integrated Technologies.
- Ability to understand design and manufacturing principles of Sealed Air Automated Equipment
