‰Ñ Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand ‰Ñ Sets up equipment operation feed, speed and temperature ‰Ñ Follows established procedures for operating various conventional and/or CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment for tasks such as cutting, punching, forming, drilling, tapping, turning, milling, and stamping to fabricate, form or shape manufactured parts, tools or parts assemblies from raw materials ‰Ñ Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing ‰Ñ Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations ‰Ñ Responsibilities are within Manufacturing/Operations Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
Job Description Cont.

Job Description: An incumbent to operate the Jiffylite mailer line as required (an envelope manufacturing machine) including Ability to set up print jobs, complete all required reports, as well as troubleshoot when problems arise. The successful candidate must be able to maintain the production, quality, safety, and housekeeping standards, and maintain a good working relationship with the Jiffylite team. Working in a safe manner and following all safety requirements, along with the following:

  • Performing the required Safety checks outlined in the Machine Job Hazard Analyses.
  • Daily operation of the Mailer Line.
  • Ability to set up print jobs for customer’s specific requirement.
  • Performing Daily and Weekly Preventive Maintenance on the Mailer Machine.
  • Follow manufacturing work instructions and training.
  • Review production schedule and set up machine to produce quality products.
  • Perform Quality Control testing as necessary and complying with the Quality specifications.
  • Input production data into SAP
  • Strong leadership in a team environment.
  • Maintaining proper House Keeping in accordance with our 5”S” Program


The successful candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent.

The successful candidate must have basic computer skills, and a positive attitude.

The successful candidate should be mechanically inclined.

The successful candidate must have a good work ethic and a good attendance record.  

The successful candidate should have strong English communication skills (listening, understanding, speaking, writing, and reading).

The successful candidate must be a team player and be able to work collaboratively with fellow employees. He/she must also be able to take direction.

1-3 years of prior work experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
