Job Summary


We are growing rapidly to support the transformational change and disruption happening in the industries we serve. SEE is transforming how we deliver capabilities to our partners and external customers by changing how our internal operations work. As part of our strategy to grow our online business as well as our software-as-a-service (SaaS) models, we are driving toward the scalable, sustainable business operations needed to deliver an excellent customer experience. As a result, we are looking for skilled and driven leaders to help support a more customer-centric organization. You will have the opportunity to change how we operate and redefine how we define Digital Business Development globally, including building the right technology infrastructure, tracking and metrics necessary to measure and deliver our objectives. 

We are leading this effort by pairing agile program leadership with product and engineering leadership across all our transformation efforts. We are looking for a passionate, experienced change enablement coach to help us accelerate time to value across all our digital products. As the transformation coach, you will be responsible for helping us manage both strategy and execution of the program’s flow and improvements, across various projects. You will be the key orchestrator, working across one of our most complex and challenging cross functional areas, and you will execute and influence through building relationships.

The key for this position is a willingness to take on challenging problems, leverage deep insight to define our strategic priorities and communicate business plans and outcomes in a meaningful way so that key stakeholders and leadership can understand and act upon it. 

Areas of Impact


Leadership, People and Culture:


  • Coaching/mentoring leaders, management, and teams through their journey to establish and strengthen the growth mindset leveraging agile methodologies in practice
  • Leading project team by example in line with Roche Leadership commitments, People Practices and policies
  • Coaching and providing training to the project team on tools, techniques, and systems used to control and execute projects
  • Building a strong project team around the key values of Roche i.e., collaboration, innovation, and self-management
  • Driving delivery commitment from all project resources and actively manage the resolution of any conflicts within the project team.

Program Enablement: Facilitate and Collaborate on all phases toward continuous improvement:


  • Build enablement transformation initiatives to executive stakeholders and via regular reporting. Be the trusted speaker on the state of enabling continuous improvement in key checkpoint reviews
  • Facilitate toward self-organized cross capability and project dependencies, risks, key design decisions etc.
  • Manage the change control mechanism setup to track and address changes to various aspects like technical/functional changes to scope, program cost or its schedule
  • Collaborate with Product and Project teams to synthesize various agile dashboards (JIRA, etc.) into meaningful performance dashboards for stakeholders and leadership
  • Visualize and document value flow from strategy and implementation ways of working that enable timelines and milestones
  • Run regular retrospectives, workshops, and events with executives, management, and/or teams toward improvements, learning, and training of enablement transformation
  • Be proactive in developing action plans and coaching during meetings and workshops for continuously improving


Roadmap Management:


  • Working with the Product Management, Marketing, IT, and other key leads to plan timelines, capacity needs and interdependencies toward transformation enablement outcomes and actions
  • Set up and sustain visuals to track the implementation status of transformation outcomes
  • Ensure our organization and stakeholders have an effective operating rhythm to make decisions and ensure information is disseminated to the right people.
  • Update and synthesize tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA, PPM, PowerBI) so stakeholders can view the status of critical enablement outcomes, meeting forums, goals, etc. at any time.
  • Determine optimal tools necessary to deliver clear and concise continuous improvement and enablement metrics to stakeholders across the organization

Success Outcomes Within a Year


  • Manage and facilitate transformation roadmap plans across the prioritized programs, paying close attention to prioritization based on outcomes, capacity availability, and flow of work to value
  • Partner with key business stakeholders to define enablement metrics for every improvement opportunity delivered ensuring they are measurable and tracked
  • Develop an approach and process to monitor, assess and remediate issues
  • Become a trusted advisor for the cross-functional teams and management helping to anticipate and remove roadblocks, identifying and tracking dependencies, facilitating meetings
  • Leverage your negotiation skills to help the teams move the plan forward
  • Expand your domain knowledge across all operations teams to understand who does what 
  • Connect and build relationships across SEE that will help the product team and program deliver outcomes faster

Qualifications and Key Skills


  • Have 5+ years of experience in transformations and a history of executing the enablement of an agile transformation, lean initiatives, and/or enablement initiatives
  • Six Sigma knowledge/certification or other process optimization experience
  • Experience with Agile scaling approaches and/or Project Management Professional techniques
  • Confluence and JIRA experience (or similar tools)
  • SAP, Adobe Suite, CPQ (Configure Price Quote), CLM experience
  • B2B E-Commerce and/or new service model experience
  • Be a change-oriented leader and thrive in an ambiguous, constantly changing environment
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence in a matrixed organization
  • Have a proven ability of efficiently ‘making signal out of noise’ and synthesizing information to senior executives
  • Enjoy orchestrating people and wrangling complicated, cross functional challenges
  • Be capable of looking beyond what currently exists, and to connect the current decisions and outcomes to the system producing them (and what might need to change)
