Job Summary

 

Sealed Air (SEE) is a global leader in packaging technology, serving all major industries segments including fresh food, medical, transportation, electronics, and the ever-expanding world of e-commerce fulfillment. 
 
To serve its customers quickly, efficiently, and sustainably, SEE has introduced a new digital customer experience platform known as MySEE to help its customers and distributors select, order, track, and manage their packaging needs more effectively than ever before.  This new digital channel is designed to be effortless and intuitive for users, and to create seamless connections between SEE's broad range of packaging materials, world-class services, and automated equipment.

 

The MySEE platform experience has just launched in North America, and will soon be expanding globally.  The MySEE team is seeking a multi-disciplinary marketing leader to help launch this new digital channel to an expanding set of eligible customers, and to leverage this new digital commerce channel to put the right packaging solutions in front of the right customers.

 

A successful candidate in this role will have hands-on experience in all aspects of digital marketing including copywriting and message creation, digital graphic design, email marketing, organic and paid social media, search optimization (SEO), and search marketing (SEM). The right candidate will also thrive on building agile, actionable plans that can be constantly refined and adapted to meet the changing needs of a fast-moving marketplace.  The right leader for this role will be a voracious student of what "good looks like" and will study how other leading companies in this space are making the process of doing business online effortless for their customers and will be excited to bring those ideas and opportunities to life at SEE.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Prioritizing and managing a robust schedule of daily digital marketing activity that spans multiple channels, campaigns, audiences, and timelines.
  • Oversight of a digital advertising budget and close partnership with agency partners to execute paid programming with discipline and a fierce commitment to maximizing return on ad spend.
  • Supporting e-commerce channel leadership to rigorously plan and prioritize marketing activity to drive and achieve ambitious targets and growth objectives.
  • Partnering with in-house creatives and brand management team to execute a large volume of content creation (copy, graphics, video, web page builds, forms, emails, etc.) that is on message, on brand, and on time.
  • Partnering with Customer Experience and Customer Service teams to design onboarding paths for customers coming on to the platform, identify possible barriers, and create marketing plans to address these barriers and drive the desired behavior (awareness, onboarding, adoption/transaction, repeat visitation, remaining in channel, etc.)
  • Partnering with Commercial leadership to ensure a thoughtful, timely communications cadence with customers about platform access, capabilities, updates, and policies.
  • Managing the daily performance of direct reports (2-3 individuals specializing in content generation, campaign management, and product merchandising) who will be accountable for building, executing, monitoring, and adapting marketing activations.
  • Coordinating regularly and transparently with global strategic marketing teams and regional field marketing teams to sequence and sync marketing objectives (seasonal promotions, product launches, etc.)
  • Ensuring the correct cadence of reporting and analysis to determine efficacy and return of all marketing activities. Proactively examining data on a daily basis to drive more effective decision making.
  • Dive in when needed to be a creator, not just a manager. Ability to model best practice standards, edit/review for quality and brand compliance, and move concepts from ideation to first draft creation with ease and expertise.

 

Qualifications

 

  • At least 5 years of execution experience in digital marketing, marketing operations, program operations, content marketing, brand marketing, e-commerce retail marketing or a similar field.
  • At least 2 years managing, coaching, and developing direct reports, contractors, interns, or other resources.
  • Ability to gather and interpret data from multiple sources and present relevant conclusions in a clear, easy to understand manner.
  • Superior communication skills that can influence change behavior at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort using project workflow management tools (Workfront, Wrike, Jira, etc.)
  • Must have familiarity using email marketing tools, social media scheduling tools, data reporting tools/dashboards.
  • Must have proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud. Fluency or deep expertise in creative tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Engage (Marketo), Adobe Target, and Adobe Analytics is a great benefit to this role, but not a requirement.
