Job Summary


SEE is currently looking for a Director of Website Strategy who will be responsible for defining and driving the overall web strategy for SEE—starting with our current website: 


This position will be critical to the company’s ongoing digital transformation and branding evolution and be accountable for delivering a world-class, functional website that reflects the company’s brand, culture, business priorities and growth markets.


This leader will work across regions and functions (like Digital Business, Marketing, HR, Communications, Brand) to advocate for the end-user and ensure top stakeholder needs are aligned and drive towards our company objectives. This role will be responsible for building a multi-year web strategy, vision and roadmap for and its related external web properties.




  • Oversee the next stage strategy and web operations, usability, and functionality of SEE’s global website and other digital properties to improve online user experience and to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and partner enablement.
  • Partner close with SEE’s Digital Business, E-Commerce and Web IT team on the future state development roadmap and optimal use of associated technology and supporting platforms.
  • Engage with marketing peers to innovate on existing methods to deliver digital campaigns that are measurable and optimized for performance.
  • Lead a team charged with deploying external-facing web properties that can create an optimal, compelling, and personalized audience-first experience including digital production, SEO and optimization, web content strategy and data and analytics.
  • Ensure the website utilizes best practices in organization, design, responsive design, opportunities for conversion, consistency in company voice and the user experience world-wide.
  • Serve as an expert on website design trends and best practices that support multiple levels of the organization and the website’s top visitors and audiences: customers, employees, prospective job candidate, investors and media. 
  • Audit the website regularly to create an ongoing roadmap for improvement, prioritized by business need and development scope.


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of deep management experience in digital strategy with a focus on web, traffic acquisition, optimization and user experience for an international B2B or B2C focused websites
  • Proven experience in multi-year successful deployments and website transformations that require stakeholder management across marketing, sales and corporate functions. 
  • Expertise in launching strategy and deployment of global platform with a multiband and international company going through major digital transformation. 
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Experience Manager and web-based tools, preference for experience in HTML, CSS, Google Analytics, Site Improve, Salesforce Pardot and the Google Suite.
  • Extensive experience working with an international company with diverse brands to build and a maintain a state-of-the-art website.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional team leader with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, both in design and delivery.
  • High sense of urgency, attention to detail and project management. 
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communications skills that reflect an ability to clarify and simplify complex issues and subject matters.
  • Experience dealing with a breadth of internal clients at multiple levels including and up to the c-suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills 


Preferred Qualifications


  • Professional experience in content strategy and development and executing digital marketing programs in a cross-functional team or agency. 
  • Experience thinking strategically and planning/executing on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective team player who can lead efforts across teams and fact find effectively.
