Position Summary

 

The digital organization of Sealed Air is responsible for identifying, building and growing key digital transformation initiatives and customer facing products. Our SEE Shop eCommerce platform is an important sales channel across multiple business lines, geographies and partners. Due to aggressive growth goals for 2020 and beyond, our team is expanding. 

 

The eCommerce Test Automation Lead is a newly created key role on the eCommerce team that will influence the direction and success of our global eCommerce strategy. This role will develop, manage and execute exploratory as well as automated test processes in order to ensure release quality while increase our speed to market. This individual will be responsible for leading the creation of innovative test frameworks, creating and managing automated test suites, and training and mentoring other analysts in test automation. This position will be responsible for managing QA Automation professionals. They will work with cross functional team members to support key feature development in a B2B industry.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owns all aspects of QA testing strategy and execution for the eCommerce platform, including functional and regression testing
  • Manages QA team resources, workflow and team delivery
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Analyze applications to design, develop and execute effective automated test solutions
  • Hands on writing and managing all automated test suites and testing schedules 
  • Maintain complete test scenario library
  • Identify, record, thoroughly document and track bugs identified from testing
  • Pro-actively look for opportunities to implement test automation solutions
  • Communicates automation progress both in the build out of the suites and quality of test runs
  • Present testing results and progress to management
  • Partners with application development teams in solution design to ensure testability of functions, data and applications tracked in defects
  • Actively participate in Backlog Grooming sessions and assist in the creation of Acceptance Criteria
  • Provide training and leadership to peers specifically around automation and process improvement
  • Stay current on new testing tools and capabilities in the market

 

Qualifications

 

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years’ experience as a QA leader performing manual and automated test cases in a fast-paced environment
  • 5+ years’ experience in application and interface testing
  • 3+ years’ experience in resource management
  • Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle
  • Strong knowledge of Selenium Web driver with programming language Java and experience working TestNG, Junit, and Cucumber
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Advanced hands-on experience in building automated regression testing capabilities using current technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in reusable test automation design and development
  • Hands on experience in testing Web services/API testing using SoapUI/Postman
  • Experience using tools like IDE, Postman, Bitbucket/GitHub, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.
  • Familiar with one or more of the following techniques/methods: Agile, Scrum, TDD, Kanban, Continuous Integration and delivery

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Excellent project management, organization and follow-up
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to identify issues & self-start programs to address
  • Self-motivated and capable of delivering results with minimum supervision
  • Communication and technical writing skills necessary to produce test specifications and test plans
  • Analytical, critical thinking, time management, and task management skills
  • Experience with system performance testing
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to champion change, influence & drive results in a complex organization
  • A mind toward innovation in an organization that enables team to innovate, drive change, and bring revenue to the organization.
