Job Description
The Engineering Operations Team is looking for a well-rounded Electrical Engineer to join our Innovation and Development (I&D) Organization. As a member of this team, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and developing customer facing equipment on a product line worth millions of dollars. As there are many solution paths, strong creativity, self-direction, and engineering acumen is required to solve the complex problems we face. The correct individual will be able to create, implement and immediately observe the impact of their work on the company’s bottom line. This person will be able to expand their business and technical acumen as they interface with our technicians, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, and Supply Chain Partners.
Responsibilities
- Work with key supply chain partners and field reps to understand and develop technical solutions for equipment issues
- Develop and validate alternates for end-of-life electrical components
- Develop and conduct component and equipment testing plans in our state-of-the-art labs
- Review and generate drawings for electrical components, assemblies, and fixtures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or greater in Electrical Engineering or similar
- A demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing hands on laboratory testing
- 3+ years of relevant product /equipment development experience
- Some firmware development experience is preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and on a highly collaborative team
- Ability to occasionally travel (domestic and international)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a work ethic that corresponds with SEE’s core values
