Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Architect with focus on Enterprise Applications & Cross Platform Integrations, who is excited about providing technical leadership in a global portfolio of platforms and applications. The Enterprise Architecture team is responsible to ensure strategic alignment of IT initiatives business goals, planning the capabilities roadmaps for various business applications, data integration platforms and business intelligence applications.

Job Description Cont.

  • Lead Enterprise Architecture Planning / Capability Based Planning to ensure alignment of IT strategy with Enterprise and Corporate Business Goals and Performance Goals.
  • Influence optimized decisions surrounding application deployments and integration strategies through an understanding of evolving business needs and technology capabilities.
  • Capture and understand business operating models (functions, locations, capabilities and associated processes, value chains, organizational model, etc.) supported by its corresponding Business Applications, Information systems and Services.
  • Design metamodels to develop value streams identifying capabilities and monitor for targeted maturities through each stages of transition architecture plan ensuring alignment to roadmaps and to achieve expected target architectures and outcomes.
  • Ensure alignment of programs and projects to architecture principles through consistent and continuous governance to avoid “duplication of functionalities” and “divergence of established patterns and strategies”.
  • Coordinate with IT & Business Leadership to provide a consensus based enterprise solution that is scalable & adaptable in synchronization with ever changing enterprise needs.
  • Participate in strategy & road map exercises, architecture definitions, product selections, application and integration pattern definition and governance.
  • Author and design artifacts, capture and establish patterns for EA repository to build a clear, useful metamodels of architecture landscapes & enterprise specific reference libraries.
  • Design and ensure implementation of Application and Integration standards, Govern conformance to such standards and established architecture principles.
  • Responsible for the creation and communication of documented standards and practices regarding development, application instrumentation and integration architecture.
  • Ownership and management of application design discussions to derive design and implementation patterns using Service Orchestration Architecture
  • Provide provision of expert advice on industry and application trends in analyzing and planning current and future IT needs guidance on complex architecture challenges.
  • Develop employee knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise across the Enterprise Architecture Team other related IT or Business Teams.
  • Outstanding presentation & communication skills with ability to manage deliverables efficiently in fast paced, high-demand environments
  • Build and manage long term strategic relationships at Business Unit leader and CIO, CTO level and collaborate efficiently with Business and IT partners to establish open communications and transparency.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years recent experience defining enterprise architectures, architecting complex enterprise designs and patterns surrounding applications and cross platform integrations.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science, or applicable field of study.
  • Proven background of designing and implementing architectural solutions which solve strategic and tactical business needs.
  • Applied broad knowledge of architecture domains (business functions, applications, information, integration, infrastructure)
  • Experience with architecture frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, DODAF, etc and EA modeling tools like Planview CTM-Troux (preferable), iServer, Abacus, Alfabet, Essential Project, Dargon1, etc preferred.
  • Excellent Multi-systems disciplines including experience with large scale global ERP.
  • Ability to conceptualize and articulate ideas clearly and concisely to build positive working relationships across groups and all management levels.
  • Lean or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
  • Ability to work fluidly with several technical disciplines, including program management, development, test, operations and support.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation leadership and presentation development.
  • Ability to excel in ambiguous business situations by adapting plans and approach.
  • Sound problem resolution, negotiation, judgment and decision-making skills.
