Job Summary


Reporting to the Vice President, Global Strategic Marketing this position will be responsible for leading the Equipment and Automation Center of Excellence within Global Strategic Marketing. The incumbent will be accountable for the marketing strategies for the entire Equipment and Automation area of the business in which will be aligned by four separate platform areas (Proteins, Fluids and Adjacent Markets, Fulfillment Solutions, Industrial Solutions) . This will include collaboration with all Global Platform Leaders to ensure effective integration of equipment and automation into their product offerings. 



Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Provide in-depth equipment and automation marketing expertise to help create the right capabilities in partnership with the solution platforms
  • Ensure each solution platform properly embeds equipment to create an integrated value proposition
  • Drive equipment penetration across market segments
  • Alignment of regional and global priorities in which will help organize resource planning
  • Identify commercial opportunities for connected systems and other integrated solutions
  • Establish equipment pricing models to deliver long term revenue growth
  • Manage external partner relationships
  • Steward of the global P&L for Equipment and Automation solutions
  • In alignment with solution platforms - develop solution specific go-to-market plans / campaigns (incl. where to play, how to win, revenue and GP trajectory)
  • Conduct product level development that drives consistency across regions
  • Convene stakeholders as marketing liaison to drive alignment across, Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing Ops, PR, Regional Executive Teams


Position Interaction:


  • Provide expertise to each solution platform leader. In doing so they will accelerate commercialization of innovation pipeline and increase profitability for equipment offerings
  • Work with external partners to identify offerings that would accelerate any new platform offerings. 
  • Partner with regional sales and marketing teams to gather market intelligence that will help develop that global strategy around Sealed Airs equipment and automation solutions




Professional Experience


  • Minimum of 10 years professional product or portfolio marketing management experience
  • Experience overseeing marketing strategies for capital equipment offerings
  • Able to understand complex issues and can clearly articulate complex ideas
  • Experienced strategic thinker with proven data analysis capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to champion change, influence and drive results in a complex organization
  • Excellent project management, organization, attention to detail, follow-up
  • Strong analytical abilities to identify issues and self-start programs to address
  • Ability to communicate and liaise broadly across functions and the organization
  • Excellent relationship building skills complemented by the proven ability to work with others, especially across team boundaries.
  • Experience dealing with large companies at the senior/executive level
  • Intellectually curious, strong attention to detail, self-motivated, can manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to be self-directed and handle ambiguous environments




  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or related discipline
  • MBA highly preferred
