Summary

Sealed Air Corporation (NYSE--SEE) is seeking a Financial Analyst in its Commercial Finance group, reporting to the Manager of Americas FP&A. This position will be supporting the largest region of the business. The person will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting processes around the topline performance of Food and Protective divisions. In addition to that the individual will be the key contact for coordinating the business performance presentations. Additionally, the individual will be a key contributor for the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic planning (STRAP). 

Responsibilities

•    Prepare and analyze daily sales for America’s region and communicate performance with business leaders including the President of Americas. 
•    Lead weekly sales performance meeting and provide commentary on the Americas performance to the corporate FP&A group
•    Support and coordinate Protective division topline forecasting process
•    Support Integrated Business Planning (IBP) finance reconciliation and Executive IBP presentation preparation 
•    Compile top customers & distributors year-over-year performance for Food and Protective divisions
•    Prepare and communicate Protective Sale and Contribution margin report
•    Compile Protective affiliates monthly performance presentation for business leaders
•    Analyze and provide commentaries for quarter over quarter performance of Protective affiliate entities 
•    Support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and the Strategic Plan (STRAP)
•    Identify and implement continuous process improvements 
 

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MUST have already graduated with Bachelor's Degree)
•    Minimum 2 internships within finance, emphasis on FP&A 
•    Highly motivated individual with strong business interest and desire to act as a key finance support to various business leaders
•    Cooperative team player with proactive communication style
•    Strong analytical and process improvement skills
•    Solid knowledge of accounting principles
•    Upmost professional demeanor and awareness for interacting with sensitive information
•    Quick learner and adapter
•    Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment; able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines
•    Ability to organize, manage and prioritize work for self; able to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred
•    Experience with MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
•    Experience with SAP and financial information systems, such as Hyperion Enterprise (HFM) and Hyperion Planning
