Job Description
SEE offers a 12-week paid intern program where individuals gain hands-on experience that will directly impact the business. This internship will be based at our headquarters office in Charlotte, NC. Our company is currently working in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to work remotely during part of the week. The Charlotte campus offers multiple amenities including a coffee shop, bistro, gym, and more!
As a program participant, you will be a fully contributing member within the SEE Global People team for the summer. Each intern is assigned a designated manager and mentor to assist throughout their experience. Interns and co-ops from multiple locations around the United States will share experiences and connect with each other throughout the semester. Additionally, the program includes professional development and networking opportunities with our leaders and senior executive team, cohort activities, social events, and a final presentation of your projects to senior leaders.
Interns will work out of SEE’s state-of-the-art corporate headquarters in Charlotte, NC with the opportunity to be a part of our Global Total Rewards team that includes:

The role will be placed within the Benefits and Global Mobility area, with the responsibility of managing one to several projects (depending on timeline and scope) related to the current business needs. Final projects will be presented to the People Leadership Team (PLT) at the end of the internship
Responsibilities
The project(s) will vary depending on the current needs of the Total Rewards department. Together with the Total Rewards team you will focus on one or more of these areas that have high impact to drive world-class results with specific deliverables.

Previous Projects
Previous projects within the departments have included:
- Develop Moments that Matter digital guides for US benefits and policies to enhance the employee experience. Participating in the administration and execution of health, welfare, retirement, wellbeing, and compensation plans and programs aligning with our Total Rewards philosophy
- Supporting benefit harmonization communication materials for a merger and acquisition.
- Compilation of best-practice research on workforce planning/tracking, and presentation of ways to adopt these practices into our current system
- Standardize North American Production Global Rewards Framework for Supply Chain. Understanding best practices, local and federal compliance and business training needs. Implement a new compensation framework that aligns with our job codes and career ladders while creating a compensation resource center.
- Developing a dashboard with key talent analytics for talent acquisition, talent development, succession, and assessment
- Conduct request for proposal for an immigration vendor to optimize efficiencies when integrating new sponsored employees
- Researching best practices in pay equity analysis for professional roles and creation of pay equity playbook
Qualifications
Education: Pursuing a Master's degree in Human Resource Management, I-O Psychology, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Required Skills/Training:
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong data reporting and analytics acumen and proven experience
- Able to lead initiatives as well as contribute as a team member
- Sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- Effective prioritization and project management skills, able to manage one or multiple projects simultaneously with minimal guidance
- Ability to excel in a multi-cultural, fast paced environment. Flexible with working hours to accommodate global and regional contacts
- Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills
