Job Summary


An IT Project Manager plays a critical role in defining and measuring delivered value.  The Project Manager will be a member of our Cloud Operating Model Delivery (COMD) organization which are built upon collaboration among business analysts, developers, security experts, and infrastructure specialist to design, build, validate, deploy, operate and maintain technology solution in a rapid, reliable, repeatable and secure fashion.  


The IT Project Manager must be open and flexible to evolving assignments and be proactive in prioritizing work demands based on SEE needs during his/her career.  Selection of the individual will be based on the individual career track record of managing demands in evolving situations with loosely defined requirements.  The ability to build trust and strong relationships with SEE Leadership across the organization will be key to help drive critical business initiatives and to achieve success in the role.


The IT Project Manager will lead the monthly capex forecast process, coordinate the development and presentation of new project requests to the Investment Committee, coordinate the procurement processing and report on the expected value realized and compare that to the actual value realized for deployed projects.




  • Manage the Investment Committee review of projects being brought forth for approval
  • Develop presentation materials for Investment Committee meetings and work closely with project team to ensure project details are provided clearly and correctly
  • Facilitate preparation of quarterly value realization make good reviews for completed projects
  • Provide any necessary capex-related support for the three-year Strategic Plan including spend projection, categorization of spend by major driver, and list of major projects in pipeline
  • Summarize key data points regarding strategic capital allocation, including allocation to sustainability, digital, touchless automation, and critical growth initiatives,
  • Own the Commercial team Capex Dashboard in Power BI, including ongoing management, user assistance, and building/modifying content to meet latest reporting and analysis needs of the IT Commercial team
  • Coordinate monthly capex forecast process and reporting/analysis of actual spend vs. forecast
  • Analyze monthly capital forecast error metrics and develop/implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy
  • Administer the capital project management system (Project and Portfolio Management); assist users with development of capital projects in the system and address adhoc system-related questions 
  • Make improvements to project request form in the system, manage user access, system licenses, and troubleshoot adhoc issues
  • Manage backlog of delivery outcomes to deliver optimal value for the organization
  • Liaise between technical resources, business resources, and other functions to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of solutions deployed
  • Work with global teams including internal SEE employees, third-party experts, and onshore and offshore contract resources
  • Define strategic value roadmaps to align delivery plans in multiple time horizons
  • Manage the approved funding and planned financial requirements (funding approvals, financial forecasting, vendor management, purchasing and invoice management)
  • Manage risk management (risk registers and mitigation planning)




  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Analytics
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience in Finance or Accounting, with Capital Project Management and/or Fixed Asset Accounting experience preferable 
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and executive presence
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation capabilities; highly comfortable with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with financial and project management systems and ability to quickly master new tools
  • Experience with Power BI or other similar data visualization tools preferred
  • Proven ability to identify and execute process improvements; Lean or Six Sigma highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with financial modeling and discounted cash flow analysis 
  • Ability to compile, analyze and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision-making
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment; able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong and creative presentation skills
  • Can work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones
  • Experience working with Business Leaders to understand business objectives and design long-term, growth-oriented solutions to solve critical Sealed Air and customer challenges
