Summary

The Sealed Air IT Internship Program is a great way to jumpstart your career. Interns will work in one of a number of key areas in Sealed Air’s Information Technology team which could include:

  • Digital 
  • Strategy / M&A
  • PMO
  • Commercial
  • Infrastructure
  • Applications

As a program participant, you will be a fully contributing member of Sealed Air’s IT team for the summer. Your main responsibility will include a substantive business project assignment within one of our departments. In addition to your role within your team, our interns contribute to the local community, participate in trainings, network with other interns and members of Sealed Air, and present their projects at the end of the summer.

Responsibilities

Intern responsibilities may include:

  • Organizing and participating in team meetings
  • Planning, leading and executing project work
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver a final presentation to the IT Leadership team covering your project and experience
  • Understand and apply policies, procedures and regulations
Qualifications

Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Business Analytics or related discipline from four-year college or university

Required Skills/Training:

  • Top candidates will have completed 2-3 years of an undergraduate course work in IT
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher 
  • Strong technical skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to lead initiatives as well as contribute as a team member
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Business Acumen
  • Sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Effective prioritization and project management skills
  • Ability to excel in a multi-cultural, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills
  • Language skills and a current passport may be preferred or required for certain internships
  • Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Skills/Training:

  • Experience in a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, One Drive, etc.
