Job Description

This internship will be based at our headquarters office in Charlotte, NC. Our company is currently working in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to work remotely during the week. The Charlotte campus offers multiple amenities including a coffee shop, bistro, gym, and more!

The Sealed Air IT Internship Program is a great way to jumpstart your career! Interns will work in one of multiple key areas in Sealed Air’s Information Technology team which could include:

  • Strategy / Mergers & Acquisitions  
  • Commercial
  • Infrastructure
  • Applications
  • Cyber Security
  • Data and Analytics

The internship program at Sealed Air provides students with challenging and impactful projects for their assigned business unit. As a program participant, you will be a fully contributing member of Sealed Air’s IT team for the summer. Each intern is assigned a designated manager and mentor to assist throughout their experience. Interns and co-ops from multiple locations around the United States will share experiences and connect with each other throughout the semester. Additionally, the program includes professional development and networking opportunities with our leaders and senior executive team, cohort activities, social events, and a final presentation of your projects to senior leaders.


Internship responsibilities may include:

  • Organizing and participating in team meetings
  • Planning, leading, and executing project work
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver a final presentation to the IT Leadership team covering your project and experience
  • Understand and apply policies, procedures, and regulations


Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Business Analytics or related discipline from four-year college or university

Required Skills/Training:

  • Top candidates will have completed 2-3 years of an undergraduate course work
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher 
  • Strong technical skills
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to lead initiatives as well as contribute as a team member
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Business Acumen
  • Sense of urgency while maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Effective prioritization and project management skills
  • Ability to excel in a multi-cultural, fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future
  • Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills
  • Language skills and a current passport may be preferred or required for certain internships
  • Must have reliable transportation

Preferred Skills/Training:

  • Experience in a multi-cultural, fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • PowerBI or Tableau
