Sealed Air Corporation (NYSE--SEE) is seeking a Manager for FP&A Special Projects in its Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group, reporting to the Director of FP&A. This role will be responsible for leading the accounting, the reporting and the forecasting for restructuring programs including tracking of project savings as well as managing cash spend of Board of Directors approved restructuring programs. This position will be responsible for managing global processes to assist with the tracking and reporting of project costs and savings, and will be the main point of contact to the Regions/Functions to address any question related to these restructuring programs. The FP&A Manager will be a key finance lead of the Annual Strategic Planning process. This role will also be responsible for leading/assisting with key initiatives for the FP&A team and other finance departments as they arise. 


•    Lead the accounting, reporting and forecasting for Board of Directors approved restructuring programs
•    Coordinate with all functions for spend approval and project cost and saving tracking
•    Facilitate review and approval of CFO for all related projects
•    Responsible for presentations for monthly reporting as well as quarterly reporting for Investor Relations, External Reporting and Executive Leaders
•    Manage and review monthly cash flow forecast and provide variance explanations for actuals related to restructuring costs/payments
•    Ensure and review special item compliance with Company policy and manage special item forecast
•    Liaison for all finance leads involved in program tracking and reporting
•    Maintain central workstream to coordinate human resource and finance teams globally
•    Responsible for identifying and implementing process improvements throughout all FP&A processes
•    Partner with the Strategy team to support the Strategic Planning process, including the development of the financials and the preparation of the Strap presentation to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors
•    Prepare five year financial models and sensitivity analysis supporting Rating Agency presentations and debt capacity review facilitated by the Treasury function
•    Assist with the financial integration of newly acquired businesses
•    Project lead for revisions to reporting requirements or system updates 


•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
•    CPA or relevant professional accounting qualification is a plus
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant industry  
•    Excellent project management skills and ability to adapt to adverse situations
•    Strong financial information systems knowledge; preferably SAP, HFM and SmartView
•    Understanding of U.S. GAAP Financial Statements
•    Lean Six Sigma certification / continuous improvement experience a plus 
•    Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels and functions of the organization
•    Collaborative team player and critical thinker
•    Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment; able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines
