As the Manager, IT GRC, you will be an integral member of the IT GRC organization. This role will be responsible for organizing and managing internal and external audits. The Manager will work for the Director, IT GRC.  This role serves SEE to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of a cohesive information security, governance, risk and compliance program. He/she will work closely with all IT teams to understand their strategic priorities, concerns, and key IT risks.  This person will ensure audits are executed and completed in accordance with established standards and within prescribed time and scope parameters to ensure deadlines are met. 
 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Contributes to the Audit planning process for specific businesses/ functional units, including audit plans, resource requirements and budgets;Has overall responsibility for completion of audits. 
  • Supports application teams during audits and addresses audit requests, providing evidence, forming conclusions, communicating scope/findings to business line.
  • Performs review of audit documentation. Oversees findings follow up and issue validation.
  • Hold the application teams/business lines accountable for meeting deliverables, quality assurance and methodology standards, including providing real-time feedback
  • Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness for areas under audit
  • Conduct IT audits to ensure completeness and accuracy of data flows through systems from point of origination to final reporting. 
  • Escalate significant risks and loss exposures to appropriate levels of management
  • Identifies factors causing deficient conditions and provides constructive, economical, and practical recommendations for audit findings
  • Maintain and improve the comprehensive controls framework aligned with industry standards and ensure the ongoing effectiveness of key controls to achieve security and compliance objectives.
  • Remain current on key changes to NIST, CIS, GDPR, SOX, SOC, PCI, PII and other applicable laws regulations and trends, and continue to enhance IT Controls and policies accordingly
  • Performs regular risk assessments, including working with stakeholders by assisting with the selection of controls, monitors treatment, and prepares status reports.
  • Participate in policy reviews and provide meaningful feedback; facilitate policy operationalization
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with Control Owners and Control Operators
  • Contribute to ongoing efforts to standardize and improve controls & audit readiness testing techniques, suggesting program-level improvements
  • Experience with information security frameworks, industry standards (i.e., NIST CSF, CIS, ISO 27001 experience)
     

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Accounting or General Business, Risk Management and/or Information Security; Master's Degree and Big 4 experience preferred. 
  • The successful candidate will have a good mix of deep technical knowledge, understanding of industry best practice, frameworks and regulations, and a demonstrated background in information security risk management program.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • 5+ years in-depth experience in relevant IT and compliance roles; NIST, CIS, ISO 27001 experience is preferred as well as professional certifications to include CISA, CRISC, CIA or GRC. 
  • Experience performing IT audits and control testing
  • Career minded professional with a positive attitude
