Job Summary


The Digital Growth and Experience organization within Sealed Air is responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and creating engaging, connected experiences which compel audiences to take action.  


The Marketing Automation Specialist will be a power user of our marketing automation platform and fully leverage its capabilities. He/she is responsible for building, executing, and measuring end-to-end automated online campaigns. Working closely with designers, content teams, and project managers, this role will translate marketing requirements into functional campaigns within Marketo. This person will be tasked with the ongoing planning, optimization, and execution of marketing automation processes and programs to support the overall digital marketing strategy. The ideal candidate is technical, organized, results-driven, and has a strong foundation in marketing automation.


The position reports to the Global Digital Marketing Automation Manager and will be based at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC and/or potentially remote.




  • Develop and execute campaign operations including program setup, audience, digital asset creation, testing, deployment and continually evaluate these for improvements
  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Marketo such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, etc.
  • Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth
  • Perform stringent quality assurance on assets and programs to verify accuracy
  • Leverage UTMs, landing pages, forms, and other tools to ensure marketing communication engagement is captured and quantified
  • Create and analyze campaign performance reporting, making recommendations to improve campaigns, and creating visibility into results
  • Support campaign efforts for in-person and virtual event promotions
  • Educate the global and regional digital marketing teams on how to best leverage current technology and automation for increased performance


Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing automation; prior experience with Marketo preferred 
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and/or other tools preferred
  • Knowledge of database management concepts and best practices
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate data into action
  • Skilled in problem-solving and project management
  • Self-starter with a history of pushing for deadline-driven results
  • Can work effectively with remote teams


Additional Qualifications


  • Industry Experience with B2B
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of email best practices, including industry benchmarks, mobile-first design principles, GDPR, and other anti-spam laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of A/B testing, email metrics & KPIs, and conversion optimization
  • Comfortable working with large data sets
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
