You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with our other brilliant team members: software engineers, testers, product owners, designers, operations, and customer support. Our Agile teams work off innovative features and drive creative designs and unique problem solving. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate an understanding of current and new trends in devOps practices and how to apply them to our products and processes. You will be an empowered team member making technology recommendations to continually improve our products with innovate digital solutions. * Must be willing to work East Coast hours if you are a remote employee. 

Responsibilities

•    Develop automated deployment and maintenance pipelines for our digital technology platforms that quickly deliver business value.  
•    Influences and coaches technical excellence practices such as test driven development (TDD) techniques and Extreme Programming concepts. 
•    Collaborate and regularly pair with other devOps engineers to cooperatively deliver.  
•    Leverage infrastructure automation technology stack to continuously integrate and deploy enhancements to AWS and Pivotal Cloud Foundry environments.   
•    Mentor other engineers and be a solution architect toward new team members and apply technical expertise to challenging engineering, design, and business problems.  
  
 

Qualifications

Skills Needed:  
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent  
•    8+ years of cloud infrastructure management experience  
•    Advanced cloud IaaS design and solution architecting concepts (7+ years of experience)  
•    Expert in multiple scripting, CLI's, and automation languages (5+ years of experience) 
•    Can mentor and coach advanced AWS service offerings and security configurations. 
•    Open personality toward pairing and collaborating with other team members 
•    Experience in data modeling, data structures, data flow design 
•    Experience with the following tools and technologies:  
•    Advanced Python programming, and use of AWS boto3 libraries and IoT SDK's 
•    Advanced Terraform configuration, including custom modules. 
•    Understanding of runtime containerization and image management 
•    Development of Web Services REST  
•    Experience in working continuous integration tools (Jenkins CI, Gitlab or similar)  
•    Experience in working with Oracle/MySQL/Postgres/MS SQL Server or NoSQL databases  
•    Experience in infrastructure monitoring and testing frameworks. 
  
Nice to Have:  
•    Operations experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry Platform 
•    Experience with the Java Spring framework 
•    Database administrative concepts and query optimization techniques  
•    IoT architecture and/or engineering background  
•    Experience & Understanding of Industrial Protocols
