Job Summary


Sealed Air has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to support its North American (NAM) business.  Protective NAM is a high-quality business with annual revenue of approximately $1.5 Billion.  The business provides reliable product protection through a family of “easy to use” solutions that minimizes customers’ costs and capital investment.  It is the leading packaging solution supplier with a number of well-known brands such as Bubble Wrap, Jiffy Mailers, Cell Aire Foam, Kraft Paper Wrap, etc.

The candidate will be responsible partnering with the portfolio team to support the management of business as well as drive profitable and sustainable growth.  This position is critical to the success of the business ensuring that we make the right investment decisions and are able to maintain and improve the profitability of our business while delivering topline growth.  


The position will be located in Charlotte, NC and report to the Commercial Finance Director – Protective Americas.




  • Partner with the business and supply chain to support the continued development of 4-5 product lines ($500mm revenue) ensuring we are positioned to deliver sustainable and profitable growth 
  • Prepare monthly presentation for portfolio leads with an overview of the financials including key drivers and insights on business performance
  • Support month-end close process including journal entries and review of financial performance 
  • Prepare and analyze price, volume/mix calculation 
  • Manage the financial planning processes for the product lines including monthly forecast, AOP and strategic plan
  • Support the development of the demand plan as part of the integrated business planning (IBP) process ensuring alignment with the financial forecast
  • Provide support and input on customer deals and analysis
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, support the implementation and realization of these opportunities
  • Finance lead for growth projects requiring capital expenditure. Support end to end PAR process and submit data into project management system for approval      
  • Support adhoc reporting, financial analysis and special projects as required




  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required, preferred MBA
  • 5+ years finance experience, with FP&A and operational analysis strengths
  • Highly motivated individual with strong business interest and desire to act as a business partner
  • Quick learner and adapter
  • Proficiency with financial reporting systems, e.g. SAP, BW, HFM, etc.
  • Strong in Microsoft Excel skills, Microsoft Access skills preferred
  • Effective, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative team player with team building skills
  • Strong analytical skills including financial planning and working capital analysis
