Job Summary

 

The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in the development of information technology solutions by orchestrating the full life cycle of software development. You will be a member of one of our Cloud Operating Model Delivery (COMD) teams which is built upon collaboration among business analysts, developers, security experts, and infrastructure specialist to design, build, validate, deploy, operate and maintain technology solution in a rapid, reliable, repeatable and secure fashion. The role will be focused on delivery of outcomes related to Supply chain with emphasis on Finite Production Scheduling and Logistic Execution (Warehouse and Shipping) by driving internal operational effeciencoes through connection of systems, data and processes.. The Business Analyst will have the accountability to synthesize the demand requirements for changes in business processes and related functions into a technology platform solutions and maximize the value of the SEE technology platform landscape to improve the experience, function, and ultimate outcomes of the SEE organization.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and manage Logistics Execution(Shipping/Transportation/Warehouse) ,Material Requirements Planning and finite scheduling related systems and processes. The Senior Business Analyst must understand the ultimate business objectives and transformation needs of the program.
  • Develop, Maintain and Deploy IT Solutions: The Senior Business Analyst will be held accountable for the delivery of solutions/outcomes of the COMD team. The role will also require deep understanding of business processes and functions needed to achieve Transformation and Targetted business outcomes. The ability to connect business function to technological platforms is critical to success in the role. Leveraging a broad technology landscape to maximize overall technology solution impact is also critical component of the role. He/she will need to hands on in all areas of the solution delivery life cycle including synthesizing business objectives into technology solutions, planning, designing, configuring, testing, deploying and managing change of the organization to complete a successful delivery.
  • As part of ongoing continuous improvements gather requirements to map business processes and systems .Build functional and technical specifications. Customize ERP and related logistics systems (Cloud Solutions and Bolt-Ons)
  • Provide support for interface and interaction strategies with external systems and processes
  • Managing or working with SMEs and various stakeholders.Developing reports and presenting to key business stakeholders and/or leadership
  • Responsble for integrating with 3rd party Logistics Providers (3PL), Cloud Solutions for Load Planning(TMS) and Freight Tracking/Costing/Bills Processing
  • Responsible for managing the current Finite production Scheduling platform (Aspen Tech) with the willingness to learn indepth process functions and delivering a roadmap for migrating to a future state
  • Manage portfolio backlog of delivery outcomes to deliver optimal value for the organization
  • Liaise between technical resources, business resources, and other functions to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of solutions deployed, including internal SEE employees, third-party experts, and onshore and offshore contract resources
  • Present complex functional and technical concepts across multiple levels of the global organization in clear, simple terms to optimize communication and alignment
  • Coordinate and support the change management for processes impacted
  • Ensure quality of technology delivery by following software development guidelines and managing others to align with documentation, research, testing, and approval requirements
  • Ability to understand and articulate system landscape, middleware, and data flows for platforms in the respective work domain

 

Qualifications

 

  • University educated (BA/BS)
  • 8+ years in-depth experience in relevant IT roles
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Strong analytical abilities to lead a global delivery portfolio
  • Can work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and design long-term, growth-oriented solution to solve critical Sealed Air and customer challenges
  • Experience in managing internal and external, onshore and offshore team members to deliver results
  • Experience with supply chain business processes
  • Strong hands-on SAP functional knowledge in Logistics Execution and willingness to learn finite Production scheduling system or vice versa
  • Experience in Non-SAP technology solutions development and deployment
