Summary

We seek an accomplished and well-rounded innovator with natural leadership skills to solve critical design problems in an agile, collaborative environment. This driven individual contributor will be responsible for being a pivotal go between for our Innovation and Development (R&D) team and our supply chain and business partners.  Candidates will have a strong understanding of 3D modeling and drafting, and be able to make decisions on design, material, and tolerance change requests, as well as create custom designs and solutions based on customer needs.  We seek a diverse skill set which may include experience with industrial machine design, SolidWorks and PDM, Design for Lean Six Sigma, material science, contract manufacturing, and GD&T dimensioning. Responsibilities

Innovate, Design, Develop, and Improve
This engineer will be responsible for assessing design for manufacturing requests and corrective action design improvements. This engineer will also be responsible for developing custom designs for industrial packaging equipment, working collaboratively with applications and electrical engineers.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or greater in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks skills, including generating 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • A demonstrated proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and on a highly collaborative team
  • Ability to occasionally travel (domestic and international).
