Job Summary

The key for this position is a willingness to take on challenging problems, leverage deep industry insight to define our strategic innovation priorities and execute our strategic vision in a meaningful way so that key stakeholders and leadership can understand and act upon it. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement business strategy
    • Research and assess the market, identify opportunities through industry trends, customer needs, technology development, competitive landscape, and sustainability & regulatory dynamics.
    • Define and formalize the long-term business strategy for the Sealed Air Fluids business and help us expand into new and adjacent markets, as well as building new internal value chain capabilities to drive growth.
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the value chain, industry economics and competitive landscape to ensure continued profitable growth in the right areas.
    • Set and deliver on the plan together with R&D, supply chain, and global & regional marketing teams; monitor progress, set priorities, and take corrective actions if circumstances change.
    • Identify opportunity spaces and disruptive technologies to help facilitate the development of new innovations and foster growth, building solid business cases to create consensus around the strategic vision. 

 

  • Lead Global Marketing Activities
    • Develop concrete business cases to build compelling customer value propositions; propose and implement a product portfolio strategy in pricing, positioning, services, and channels.
    • Collaborate closely with our regional Platform leads, product and sales teams to drive the commercialization tactics and growth for existing and new products globally
    • Engage with the industry and our customers, provide in-depth Fluids & Food Service marketing expertise to create the right capabilities and connect with the right partners.

 

  • Drive Communication, partnership relationships and Regional Marketing Engagement
    • Develop and roll-out campaign assets, sales tools, landing pages, presentations, and brochures for our Fluids & Food Service sectors, together with the marketing enablement manager, sales operations, and content teams.
    • Act as the knowledge center and an evangelist of the Fluids & Food Service segment. Drive and support engagement with regional Sales and Marketing projects and strategic alignment. 
    • Develop and maximize strategic partnership relationships with our existing and new key strategic partners for common growth.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business Admin, Marketing or related field of study.
  • Advanced degree is a plus preferred. 
  • 5+ years’ of directly related work experience in Fluids, Food Service, Food and Beverage industries. 
  • Experience with consumer dispensing fitments and smart technology is a plus.
  • Previous experience with B2B and B2C marketing, including value chain analysis, buyer journey mapping and integrated campaign strategy.
  • You can demonstrate experience driving innovation and strategic market development in both mature and emerging markets—executing your vision and ultimately exceeding revenue goals. 
  • You are well-versed in driving white space analysis, new business models, and financial analysis and can bring a unique perspective to the team.
