Job Summary
A Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in the development of information technology solutions by orchestrating the full life cycle of software development. You will be a member of one of our Cloud Operating Model Delivery (COMD) teams which is built upon collaboration among business analysts, developers, security experts, and infrastructure specialist to design, build, validate, deploy, operate and maintain technology solution in a rapid, reliable, repeatable and secure fashion. The role will be focused on delivery of outcomes related to supply chain management. The Senior Business Analyst will have the accountability to synthesize the demand requirements for changes in business processes and related functions into a technology platform solutions and maximize the value of the SEE technology platform landscape to improve the experience, function, and ultimate outcomes of the SEE organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage IT Customer Relationships: The Senior Business Analyst must understand the ultimate business objectives and transformation needs of the program in which they are working. Additionally, the role requires providing guidance and managing effective internal and external relationships for optimal, sustainable solutions.
- Develop, Maintain and Deploy IT Solutions: The Senior Business Analyst will be held accountable for the delivery of solutions with the COMD team that achieved business outcomes. The role will require deep understanding of business processes and functions needed to achieve business process change and valuable business outcomes. The ability to connect business function to technological platforms is critical to success in the role. Leveraging a broad technology landscape to maximize overall technology solution impact is also important component of the role. He/she will need to manage a team to perform in all areas of the solution delivery life cycle including synthesizing business objectives into technology solutions, planning, designing, configuring, testing, deploying and managing change of the organization to complete a successful delivery.
Other Critical Responsibilities / Duties
- Manage portfolio backlog of delivery outcomes to deliver optimal value for the organization
- Acts as a liaison between technical resources, business resources, and other functions to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of solutions deployed
- Present complex functional and technical concepts across multiple levels of a global organization in clear, simple terms to optimize communication and alignment
- Manage global teams including internal SEE employees and onshore and offshore contract resources and third-party experts
- Coordinate and support the change management for processes impacted
- Ensure quality of technology delivery by following software development guidelines and managing others to align with documentation, research, testing, and approval requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Business
- 8+ years in-depth experience in relevant IT roles including two or more full cycle ERP implementation
- Extensive experience with cross functional Supply Chain Management processes
- Must have strong SAP experience in Supply Chain modules -- Manufacturing (PP), Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), and Plant Maintenance (PM)
- Experienced in leading solution design and business blueprinting sessions
- Extensive experience in cross functional integration and integration with third party applications
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Strong analytical abilities to manage a global delivery portfolio
- Extensive experience in the delivery of final solutions
- Can work effectively with remote teams across multiple time zones
