Job Summary

 

The Virtual Collaboration Senior Analyst will provide IT support and solutions for Sealed Air.  A Senior Analyst will provide various IT-related tasks including, prompt, courteous and comprehensive service-request support.  This will encompass problem resolution, escalation of such requests via phone, video, email and deskside, for various business applications, desktop/laptop computer,VDI, Mobility and other general IT related tasks.  The position requires installation and configuration of various hardware and software, hardware warranty support and implementation of proactive measures to ensure the highest uptime for our customers.  In addition, the position will work closely with other functions within Infrastructure including Security, Database, Server and Network teams to provide a broader solution skill set.  
 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Technical capabilities to assist with Audio\Visual, Mobile, Server, and Network teams.  
  • Provide level 1,2 and 3 support to end user within a global, complex environment.
  • Resolve customer technical issues through diligent research, reproduction, and troubleshooting
  • Lead and participates in identifying and resolving complex recurring technical issues.
  • Ability to work independent to carry out broad and complex technical assignments. 
  • Leads/participates in technical projects 
  • Manages incidents (tickets) from beginning to end. 
  • Install new, expand existing and configure operating systems, software applications, utilities and service packs based on end user needs.
  • Perform software and hardware upgrades, routine maintenance, and monitoring.
  • Tests new software operating systems, upgrades and applications prior to implementing into production.
  • Experience with System Management tools...SCCM, LanDesk, SEP, AirWatch, Microsoft O365, Group Policy Management, etc.
  • Familiar with Citrix Virtual Desktops support, Azure Fundamentals / Networking / Infrastructure.
  • Train users in use of equipment and software.
  • Ability to work on-call rotation required once fully trained
  • Create, Maintain and update knowledge base articles.
  • Manages after-hours incidents.
  • Other duties as required by management.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years supporting Windows operating systems and OS X environments.
  • 5+ years managing large Enterprise PC environment 
  • Have broad expertise in computer software applications, desktop systems and networks.
  • Exceptional technical, analytical, problem solving, communication, & customer service skills.
  • Strong customer service skills-customer focused.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to think and work independently.
  • Experience supporting multiple, simultaneous engagements
  • Familiarity with software distribution & patch management.
  • Excellent OS & software application troubleshooting & problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, documentation, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within the team.
  • Highly self motivated
