Job Description
Responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and training on all Sealed Air / Cryovac packaging equipment. Carry out emergency repairs at our customer’s plants. Contribute to equipment sales and proposals, materials and equipment audits, system applications and competitor analysis.
Key Accountabilities
Equipment
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of Sealed Air equipment
- Maintain the services requirements and reporting of all installed Sealed Air equipment
- Manage the emergency repairs to Sealed Air equipment
- Control the spare parts stock and manage the service tool kits
- Quality and Equipment Sales
Develop and maintain a customer service relationship with customers and service companies to expedite the service engineer function
- Contribute to the development of new business and enhancing existing business
- Conduct materials and equipment audits
- Liaise with customers to ensure Sealed Air equipment is maintained in optimum condition
- Equipment Systems
Provide an advisory service to customer equipment departments on Sealed Air equipment and services
- Respond to and facilitate the resolution of customer concerns
- Develop potential equipment sales
- Administration
Prepare and submit customer call reports as requested
- Customer invoicing for equipment and spare parts
- Maintain all record systems relating to customers
- Maintain Company assets and equipment in accordance with Company policy
