Job Description
Operators are responsible for all activities on their machine for their shift.
- Follow all Safety Procedures
- Plant Safety Procedures
- JSA’s
- Lockout/Tagout
- 5S/Housekeeping
- Read and follow production schedules and notes
- Decipher 40-character material description code
- Determine previously produced quantities and quantity remaining to be produced
- Read and follow additional production notes on schedule (English)
Job Description
- Maintain Raw Material and WIP inventories and communicate issues
- Accurate product identification and cycle counting
- Timely and good communication skills with other production personnel and plant management
- Machine Set-up
- Select the correct materials for the scheduled production
- Decipher 40-character SAP material description
- Machine Operation
- Operators need to operate computer and machine setting controls
- Produce the correct quality products at the standard rate or better
Job Description
- Machine Shutdown
- Perform housekeeping and return unused materials to their appropriate stocking locations
· Packaging
o Correctly label and bag finished goods
o Correctly and neatly stack rolls in the storage area
· Preventative Maintenance
o Perform shift and weekly pm
o Use WD40, Citrus Clean and various oils, grease and lubricants

Quality Testing
Perform quality testing during first product inspection and hourly
o Measure and record production parameters and material density
· Production and Quality Recording
o Accurately complete all production and quality forms and logs
Turn in all forms to the correct locations/personnel
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Operators need to demonstrate mechanical aptitude and computer entry skills. Operators need to be able to understand and follow English based instructions, schedules and safety documentation. Operators need to be able to read a tape measure/ruler. Operators need to be able to stand for 7 ½ hours, package rolls weighing up to 50 lbs for up to 7.5 hours per day, manually lift scrap material weighing up to 50 lbs for disposal, manually lift materials onto a 4” high pallet for up to 7.5 hours per day, and operate a powered forklift to retrieve and return raw materials and finished goods.
