Shift- Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 4:45 am to 5:00 pm

Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.  Reads and interprets diagrams to select, position and secure machinery.  Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion.  Coaches and helps train other members of the team.

  • Be aware of and adhere to all safety rules & regulations
  • Helps other members of the department and/or other departments in the plant.
  • Plan & prepare for upcoming jobs.
  • Set-up operation of Product Branding, Labeling & Packaging Requirements.
  • Supervises final product including and not limited of Labeling & Packaging.
  • Preventive Maintenance Schedules & Responsibilities.
  • Production Schedule Sequencing & Observance.

Qualifications

Organizational Skills:    Must be able to take and follow both written and verbal directions and communicate those directions to others.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills.

Problem Solving: High degree of analysis, problem solving and creativity.

Technical Skills:  Must have basic math skills and able to solve mathematical problems. Must also have some basic hand tool skills.

Minimum Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Experience Required:  3+ years in manufacturing role working as a machine operator or prove experience.

Physical Requirements:  Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. on a continuous basis.  Ability to stand for periods of up to 4 hours at a time.  Ability to perform repetitive bending and stretching on a daily basis.
