Sales Executive, Food Packaging - UAE

What is this role responsible for?

 

Based out of Dubai, the Sales Executive, Food Packaging role is responsible for managing exisitng key Sealed Air accounts and generating new high-quality business in the UAE. 

 

The day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Managing and meeting customers’ current needs.
  • Accountability for all aspects of sales, receivables, inventories etc.
  • Selling additional released products and systems.
  • Co-ordinating Cryovac resources to achieve the above.
  • Fully implementing 'Cryovac Total Offer' through full system approach.
  • Identifying and promoting Packaging System approach.
  • Seeking new opportunities within existing customer base.
  • Identifying target customers for new applications and materials.
  • Achieving target sales performance metrics.
  • Monitoring, benchmarking and reporting on competitive activity within the industry.
  • Developing close customer relationships.
  • Providing regular reports on site activity as required.
  • Completing monthly reporting as required and business plan updates.
  • Contributing to budget planning and territory growth plans. 
  • Attending and presenting at team meetings.
  • Forming relationships with key “head office” contacts.
  • Managing negotiations. 
  • Developing a strategic plan to meet key accounts needs.
  • Understanding “big picture” needs of customers and communicate these to Cryovac organization. 
     

What are we looking for in an "ideal" candidate?

 

The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree and 2+ years' of directly related work experience within the packaging industry, preferably with direct experience and/or strong working knowledge of Food Care Packaging, specifically food proteins (poultry, processed meats, dairy, ready meals).
