Job Description

The primary mission of the Services Solution Lead is to successfully support the Business Services commercialization, deployment, and sustaining support strategies in the Americas. The role will ensure alignment and support with LINK, Material Detection, Precision, Open/Local Data and future business services offerings. It is critical in the role to maintain a broad perspective and in-depth understanding of services in the market, especially services from our partners and competition. 
The key objectives are to achieve both the Business Services financial results as well as supporting the achievement of the Automation and Equipment Sales objectives in the Americas.  
The Business Services role will collaborate extensively with the Innovation & Development, Automation & Equipment Sales Teams, Supply Chain Equipment Management Team, Digital Technology Team, Food Sales Teams, and Sector Marketing. 

This person will be part of the team responsible for the day-to-day monitoring and maintenance of the Solutions Center. This includes configuring and monitoring customer dashboards, training customers on dashboard usage, configuring alert notifications for machines, managing incoming issues, and using all available resources for issue resolution. As well, this role will monitor and maintain an Incident Management System for tracking problems, issues, and their respective resolutions. Responsibilities will also include supporting senior leadership with timely distribution of monthly administrative reports. 


  • Travel requirement up to 20%. Overnight and international travel will be required in this role
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Information Technology, or the Sciences 
  • Business related master’s degree desired  
  • Master Black Belt Lean Six Sigma is a plus  
  • Expertise in services related to improving production and processes efficiency  
  • Expertise in info tech and info systems.  Must enjoy working with new software  
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Expertise in delivering and demonstrating value delivered to customers  
  • Experience to meet technical challenges with creative and innovative solutions  
  • Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written 
  • Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a very nice bonus 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Strong presentation skills with ability to convey complex information to a broad audience  
  • Strong global acumen and cross-cultural agility
  • Strong financial acumen.  Understand controlling margins and how to drive profitable growth
  • Possession of knowledge and skills needed to resolve wide and varied situations while being able to implement concrete recommendations and decisions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task while being flexible with changing demands
  • Excellent planning and execution skills 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
  • Self-starter with the confidence to take calculated risk, partner with other leaders within the organization as required, lead change, and work transparently with all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated sales skills and/or training with ability to utilize consultative sales techniques 
  • Demonstrated persuasiveness and solid negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a cooperative work environment while working confidently with higher management
