Position Purpose


Sealed Air is seeking a driven individual to focus on gathering customers insights that can become transformational growth opportunities for SEE, based on a ‘total solution approach’. Key to succeed is the understanding of the packaging industry and the ability to predict packaging materials interaction with the customer’s equipment and products and to proactively seek for integrated solutions opportunities aimed to solve explicit or latent customer pain points or to address unmet needs. This role is supposed to be immersed in the marketing organization and has a strong liaison with I&D to make sure good, selected opportunities are translated into executable programs that generate incremental growth and effectively communicate the value-add solution both to internal stakeholders and our customers and retailers. The qualified candidate will be responsible for using heightened curiosity and technical expertise to map customers processes, cluster areas of possible intervention for SEE in alignment with the Global Platforms, Sustainability, Equipment &Automation & Digital Strategy and socialize within the marketing organization for the best path forward.  This individual will be also involved or responsible for specific development projects in cooperation with the equipment and materials teams wherever her/his skillset and priorities will be adapt.

  • You will be a part of a team driving innovation through curiosity and creativity to sustain the future of the company, leveraging a solution in a new space resulting in growth, the identification of a new technology that can have commercial impact, or the identification of a problem statement/exploratory area that generates a pull from the business.
  • To use your written and verbal communication skills; experience creating data-driven reports to communicate.
  • To use your ability as a team player to work effectively on projects with cross- functional teams; and your ability to interact effectively with and assist Product and Process Engineers, Customer Equipment Engineers, Sales, Marketing, and Customers; as well as your demonstrated ability to interact with people of different cultures and backgrounds.
