Job Description



This position provides technical support to Sealed Air customers and support Sales in the promotion of Sealed Air packaging and equipment systems






  • Provides equipment troubleshooting, repair and maintenance, and process improvements to customers using Sealed Air / Cryovac materials.
  • Assists in installation and startup of equipment
  • Trains customer personnel in equipment operation, maintenance and sanitation
  • Advises customers in establishing PM programs and spare parts requirements
  • Conducts audits of equipment maintenance, material and packaging quality
  • Maintains records and issues reports required in the field service function
  • Position generally requires daily travel with frequent overnight travel.  Flexibility in an altered work week schedule is required due to weekend and sometimes holiday installations.






  • Prefer an associate’s degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school or minimum of 3 years industry experience.
  • Individuals should possess good interpersonal communications skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Competent in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic trouble shooting.
  • Must be able to read electrical schematics
  • Must have a trainer’s mentality
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel
  • Be a self-starter
