Summary

Sealed Air is seeking a driven, team oriented, engineering professional to fulfill our current Software Engineer role. The Software Engineering opening, located in Grand Island, New York is 100% remote. The qualified candidate will be responsible for software design, implementation, and release of customized solutions that interact and communicate with packaging equipment and e-commerce back-office programs and systems. The qualified candidate will be responsible for working with a software development team advance our printing technology in the area of ripping, color management and data processing. The ability to handle multiple projects and priorities is critical. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently as well as interact with team members and leaders.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must have the ability to design software application with the following:

C++ versions 11,14 and 17
Windows API
MFC
COM -Active Template Library
Boost
Visual Studio 10-17

Qualifications

BS degree in Software Engineering
5+ years of Software Engineering Design
Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows Server, and Visual Studio Design suite
Excellent organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to effectively communicate and multi-task
Knowledge of printing systems and the following would be a plus: JDF, XML, Adobe, Color formats – ICC profiles, Font formats, printing background in particular printing formats (PFF & AFP), Color management
