Four-month temporary Contract opportunity- Plant HR Generalist; Saddlebrook, NJ at the Mayhill Plant

Full time 40 hours a week.

Job Description

• Utilize company systems and other resources to recruit, hire, and onboard candidates through direct hire or temp conversion practices

• Work with Management to support staffing needs

• Utilize company systems to review and approve payroll timecards

• Understand company policy and assist with employee relations practices

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Practice personal safety and follow all safety practices and procedures.  Comply with all policies, practices, and procedures.  Report all unsafe activities to management.

• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

• Use of logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems

Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Requires work on a computer accessing company related email, Microsoft Suite, computer systems, applications, and programs

• Ability to speak effectively before groups 

• Ability to act independently and use judgement as needed

• Experience working in a team environment

• Requires attention to detail and being thorough in completing work tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline required
• Bi-Lingual Spanish skills strongly preferred
• 5+ years of HR experience in a a Manufacturing or Warehouse environment strongly preferred
• Working onsite at the Plant is required
• Expertise in HR practices, procedures, and policies
• Exceptional Communication skills (verbal and written)
• Recruitment knowledge and experience strongly preferred 
• Time/ Attendance/ Payroll experience strongly preferred 
• Employer relations experience in resolving employee matters and investigations
• Terminations and support of progressive discipline
• Leave of absence- tracking and monitoring
• New hire process- onboarding, orientation, and day one support
• Additional projects as assigned- annual enrollment, change management, W4 Project 

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.   Physical Requirements:
