Job Description

The Technical Specialist I will work internally and externally.

  • Internally he/she will work assembling and repairing machines, press technical support by phone, and identify spare parts.
  • Externally he/she will work making technical assistance on customers, installing and fixing systems and machines.

This role has Brazil coverage, and the Technical Specialist needs disposal to travel at least 50% of the time.

Responsabilities
  • Make technical visits to customers who use our system and machines and monitor the production in order to identify and correct any problem that may compromise the results.
  • Perform repairs on equipment and assemblies, making them available as soon as possible to customers.
  • Adapting machines and/or equipment according to customer needs, fashioning parts, and installing electronic components.
  • Recover all machines coming from customers, after use, performing all mechanical technical procedures and/or electrical in order to make them available for use.
  • Adapt wiring diagrams for connecting our equipment to customers' facilities.
  • Leverages Consultative Approach with Customers - understand customer needs/challenges, build relationships, and become trusted advisor while servicing and growing accounts  
  • Identify issues on customer processes to provide solutions to guarantee correct productivity and better performance.
  • Availability for travel, national and international, for customers visit and training
Education
  • Technical Degree in Technical-Mechanical, Electrical or "Tecnônologo". Also, any Engineering driven to electrical or mechanical automation is a big plus.
  • 3-5 years of technical assistance in any area (not negotiable)
  • Intermediate level of English and Spanish (not negotiable)
Skills
  • Ability to communicate with people at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to observe and identify problems, have logical reasoning, business vision, growth strategy, organization, decision making, high level of integrity, and ethical standards.
  • Availability for travel (50% of the time)
  • University degree and related specialties will be considered as plus.
