Job Role

Lead and grow sectors like Dairy, Processed Meat, Poultry, E Commerce and General Manufacturing through business development, successful market penetration of new applications/innovations and geographical expansions.

Primary Role Responsibilities

Lead the business development in the designated sector by:

  • Mapping the sector for opportunities and size
  • Tailor–fitting SEE applications / knowledge to develop appropriate programs to convert these opportunities into business
  • Develop and implement applicable business models for the various segments of the sector
  • Manage key relationships with large corporate accounts and customer
  1. Ensure the implementation of strategies set forth by Corporate
  2. Ensure profitable growth
  3. Prepare monthly reports (Business/sector analysis; Sales Funnel)
  4. Coordinates and conduct product trials along with Application specialists
  5. Develop relationships with key external customers through regular communications, field visits, business reviews and other engagement activities
  6. Work closely with Engineering team to make proposals for packaging equipment, spare parts, and other engineering services

Establishes course of action for self to accomplish specific goals; plans proper assignments.

Close coordination with local and regional teams

Above average verbal and written communications skills and negotiation skills.

Communication within the organization is primarily in English.

 

Technical Skills:

Able to design solutions for specific customer to bridge the gap between current and best practice.

Able to identify opportunities, sell benefits and price the merits of total packaging solution.

 

Leadership Skills:

Able to influence customers regarding product offerings and services.

Able to effectively translate customer vision to practical and successful solutions.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any 4 year course, preferably in engineering, food science, packaging or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Relevant sales experience (minimum of 3 years of prior experience) in business-to-business sales setting; sales management experience is preferred
  • Self-motivated, flexible and customer-centric
