Summary

As the Director of Regional Global Total Rewards, you will work closely with the Global Total Rewards leadership team and Regional HR Business Partners  in developing our global compensation and benefit strategies for programs outside of the Americas. You will be directly responsible for carrying out global projects in the regions which may include salary planning, incentive payments, salary survey administration, development of salary ranges, benefits plan design and administration of and communications with stakeholders.  You will also ensure all programs are compliant and satisfy local legal requirements as well as provide support to and prepare materials/presentations for business leaders.  Keeping abreast of legislation and trends throughout the regions is imperative to help inform our broader strategies and regional needs. This role can work remote from anywhere in Europe, with some travel, and reports to the VP of Global Total Rewards.

Responsibilities
  • Administers the merit increase process, the annual incentive process and the LTI process for the region utilizing the tools provided by Global Compensation and monitoring progress to timeline.  Counsels local management on policy and process.    
  • Participates in the job evaluation process for the region and participates on the Global Compensation job evaluation committee.  Reviews market data and recommends appropriate compensation recommendation.  Submits jobs to committee and fully participates in the meetings and communicates results.
  • Salary planning expert for the region, conducting systems and process training and managing the process throughout the region.
  • Manages the salary survey process throughout the region, coordinating with each country to assure consistency in survey submissions, meeting timelines and answering questions and providing guidance as necessary.
  • Leads and participates in other Global initiatives that have a regional impact such as cascading communications, implementing and training on new systems, etc.
  • Works with Global Mobility to coordinate the expatriate process for the region.
  • Works with Director, Global Benefits to manage the local benefit and retirement programs
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 12 years compensation and benefits experience
  • Five years of compensation and benefits experience with a non-US regional organization and/or multinational company
  • Knowledge of country specific legal requirements for Compensation and Benefits
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced in Excel
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as required
  • Strategic communications skills with the ability to advise and partner with others to develop effective and impactful communications
  • Ability to effectively manage issues and risks so they are resolved/mitigated by appropriate stakeholders
  • Must be highly collaborative and able to navigate through a matrix organization
  • Extensive global experience is preferred
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors a plus
