Territory Business Manager

 

Job Role:

To handle Key Accounts for Food Packaging and Protective Packaging businesses and grow the business through development of new accounts, successful development of new products/applications, implementation of innovations and geographical saturation leading to opportunity conversion.

 

Primary Position Responsibilities

1.    Lead the development of the business in the designated geographical location by 

  •  Mapping opportunities for various food and protective packaging sectors
  •  Convert these opportunities into businesses by offering tailor-fit solutions and programs around Sealed Air products, applications and services
  •  Develop and implement applicable business models for new and existing accounts
  •  Manage relationships with key corporate accounts and become the top-of-mind packaging solutions provider for these accounts.

2.    Ensure the successful roll-out and implementation of global/regional/local strategies of the Food Packaging and Protective Packaging Divisions and Sectors.

3.    Ensure that targets for profitable sales are achieved for new businesses.

4.    Prepare monthly business reports on goal achievement, progress of projects and market situation/status.
5.    Coordinate and conduct plant audits, trials and presentations along with Application Specialists and/or Engineering and Equipment team.

6.    Develop relationships with key customers through regular communications, field visits, business reviews and other business activities.

7.    Work closely with the global/ regional/ local business development team and sector leaders in developing and implementing strategies to win new accounts and

       additional applications in existing accounts.

  • Able to create good rapport during corporate meetings and presentations.

  • Able to learn and adapt to new concepts, technologies and information from formal and informal training/coaching.
  • Able to design solutions for specific customers to bridge the gap between current and best practices. 
  • Able to identify opportunities and create value for customers
  • Has a basic understanding of manufacturing environments and best practices

 

Leadership Skills: 

  • Able to influence customers regarding product offerings, services and value creation.
  • Able to effectively understand customer issues, create solutions and work with teams for implementation of solutions

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably in engineering, food science or other related fields; PRC License and/or MBA is a plus
  • Relevant sales experience in business-to-business sales settings; sales management experience is preferred
  • Is able to drive and cover a defined geographic assignment
  • Proficient with business reporting tools and programs
