What does a Total Rewards Manager/Expert do?

Sealed Air is seeking an engaging and experienced Total Rewards professional to support our business across the Asia and Australia & New Zealand regions. This role will partner closely with HR Business Partners, HR Operations and members of the Global Total Rewards team.


The ideal candidate will bring strong consulting and problem-solving skills as they partner closely with HR Talent Leaders and the business across the region. Recommending solutions that bring insights from the market and are and are consistent with the global frameworks.


In addition, the role requires strong technical compensation and benefits expertise, ideally gained in a global organization. The ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with competing and shifting priorities is also essential for this position.

We open to TR expert talent who are located in Philippines, India and China.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with regional stakeholders on Total Rewards topics across broad based compensation and benefits topics.
  • Educating, training and coaching of the regional People Team on Total Rewards strategy, principles, tools, governance and processes.
  • Managing the effectiveness of Total Rewards programs across the APAC region, in partnership with local People Team
  • Evaluating job descriptions and providing consultation to our People Team on pay decisions
  • Conducting compensation benchmarking analysis, with supporting conclusions and recommendations for APAC countries
  • Maintaining competitive salary ranges for countries across APAC
  • Play a key role in the successful execution of the annual compensation planning cycle, being the APAC lead and taking global lead on given workstream(s)
  • Assisting in benefits renewals in multiple geographies across APAC
  • Lead global projects in area of expertise

What are we looking for in You?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Total Rewards ideally in global,  performance-driven cultures
  • 5-8+ years of experience with strong knowledge of APAC jurisdictions and government legislations that impact compensation and benefits decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of job levelling methodologies
  • Ability to work independently with limited day to day supervision
  • Experience effectively communicating in a multi-cultural organization, both written and verbal
  • Great attention to detail and ability to work with a sense of urgency and ownership
  • Experience of HR systems, in particular operational understanding of managing compensation processes.
  • Advanced excel skills required, with strong IT skills in areas such as sharepoint, powerpoint, Teams and other common applications.
