Job Summary
Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales for Canada, the successful candidate will be skilled in selling new products, applications and value-added products and services in a geographical territory to an existing and new customer base.
Responsibilities
- Identify, execute and quantify value actions and projects for food care packaging solutions ensure success of both the customer base and Sealed Air.
- Create, monitor and revise lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
- Develop, maintain and grow territory of both established and new customers.
- Responsible for coordinating efforts of a sales support team for this territory.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in marketing, business or related field.
- Minimum 3 – 5 Years experience in selling high performance value added products. Experience in packaging and/or fresh food packaging is preferred.
- A demonstrated track record of success in increasingly progressive sales positions; preferably supporting National Accounts.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills to interact with customers, cross-functional teams and field support group.
- Solid financial business acumen including analytical skills for tenders, budgets and customer sales agreements.
- Strong computer skills in SAP (or a similar ERP system) Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to effectively work in a large Company within a matrix organizational structure.
- Commercially competent, with a capability to be involved in negotiating customer contracts for major accounts.
- Self-starter who possesses excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- High level of integrity and self-discipline.
- Valid passport and drivers license is required.
