The Electronics Business Development Manager (EBDM) is primarily focused on account acquisition & developing key subsectors for growth in Electronics. The subsectors are servers, semi-conductors, flat-panel screen/monitors, consumer electronics, medical electronics and new energy.

This is a direct, customer-facing role with responsibility to close new revenue opportunities with end users/brand owners/channel partners and creating critical milestones for each subsector for growth.  The account acquisition must be self-driven and with close collaboration with country team members as per the business development playbook.

The position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive internal and external sales plan that would increase revenues, growth and profits. This position is expected to uphold the strategy, mission and values established by the organization.  


  • Accountable for all Electronics growth projects in the relevant country (in South East Asia)- and will be the leader in acquiring and managing the progress of projects, and deliverable of each project.
  • For projects that have local operations team involved, the EBDM will need to have great collaboration with local team members for timely project execution.
  • Understands Sustainability led value projects in Electronics.
  • Focus intensely on account acquisition. This includes identifying who are the customers (building a solid prospect list), identifying customer needs, pain points, acquire and build relationship with top to top contacts, presenting customer centric values including Sustainability and design.
  • Liaise directly with Regional Electronics Director for mentorship and alignment with regional/global plans and support. Pivotal in ensuring global/regional projects are executed timely.
  • Pivotal in value and price strategies.
  • Highly focused on “ONE SEE” solution approach including automation (product agnostic)
  • Continuously focus on sales growth execution and sales target (AOP) achievement through new account research and acquisition planning, leveraging sector expertise, and local intelligence.
  • Ensures that SEE capture most of the electronics opportunities migrating from China into Thailand and Vietnam.


  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Marketing and/or Business Development, Engineering and Product Development required
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Previous experience in packaging and/or integration industries is desired with a background in development and delivery of automated systems and strong team management skills
  • Strong Project Management skill/experience.
  • Highly knowledgeable on the Electronics market in Thailand and Vietnam
  • Hunter mentality
  • Ability to use multiple network, associations and platforms (including digital) to acquire contacts and prospects
  • Ability to scope and measure the status of each subsector in the region
  • Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).  Desire solid demonstrated presentation skills with ability to convey complex information to a broad audience.
