Job Description

Within retail activities, the Retail Coordinator is responsible for establishing a connection with retailers facilitating the relationship with the industry and SEE. Also, the Retail Coordinator must investigate retail stores through regular visits: track, collect and provides strategic information regarding retail movements, its consumers, packaging competitors, and food industry trends to the Marketing and Sales teams allowing define actionable plans to spread and strengthen Food Care solutions in the food and adjacent markets. As pull through activity works closely with marketing and sales teams to establish and implement a coordinated plan towards promoting selected innovation programs and change-the-game solutions, within food processors and retailers. The Retail Coordinator is responsible for tracking and monitoring the market, customers, and competitors as well as market trends through the actions of industry and retail and their products available at the various points of sales. 

Main Responsabilities
  • Contact key retailers to promote selected programs, identify opportunities and promote business leverage through “pull-through”
  • Monitor the market, customers, and competitors through the store visits
  • Elaborate monthly reports related to retail activities and market evolution
  • Supporting global strategies for Food Waste Reduction
  • Support the Marketing Sector Leader to support growth and geographical expansion strategies.
  • Identify and quantify (when possible) sources of food loss, inefficiencies in back store operations, logistics, deficiencies in product presentation, consumer demands and any possible gap that can represent an opportunity of gain and that can be solved by SEE solutions.
  • Carry out test along with Applications / Sales at producers or retailer plants to validate Food Care solutions (measure metrics on loss, efficiencies, shelf life extension when possible)
  • Introduce Food Waste impact and relevance in SEE value proposition. Help to consolidate the sustainable message among our internal and external audience
  • Collaborate with global Retail teams or Marketing requirements providing information on consumptions trends, regional retail chains performance, product presentation, and other related data.
  • Explore new geographies and adjacent markets to assess potential market growth. Elevate the conclusions to the Marketing / Sales team to capture opportunities according to the available resources. 
  • Participate and build positioning at Retail relevant organizations or chambers to have access to business and regulatory information and be closer to decision-making contacts.
  • Promote regular innovation events with customers/retailers to leverage new business

Education, Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor of Production Engineering, Business Administration, or Marketing focused on B2B.
  • 3-5 years of experience.
  • E-commerce knowledge.
  • Advanced level of English & Spanish.
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Advanced Microsoft office package. 
  • Presentation technics for speaking in a front senior audience.

  • Travel Availability: 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver license.
