Job Description

Responsible in improving the performance and design of existing products and create new products from conception to production by determine design and manufacturing requirements while ensuring product is price competitive in the market.
Take part in internal and external collaboration in all stages of design. Calculate the produce cost and submit it to GM for approval, then transfer it to Sales Department.

Communicate with customers to gain strong understanding of their requirements on packaging. Identify areas of improvement required on existing design and propose creative, timely, and cost-effective solutions without compromising packaging design standards.
Provide sufficient information and detailed design drawings based on customer’s requirement to internal team
Calculate the produce cost and submit it to GM for approval, then transfer it to Sales Department.
When new order is confirmed , hold NPI meeting and complete work instruction、technical specification、die cut tooling etc.
Collaborate with relevant internal functions (e.g. Customer Service, Sales, and Marketing) or having external collaboration with customer to achieve functional packaging goals.
Work closely with them and manage complete packaging development process, which includes prototype development and performance testing.
Identify and implement cost saving initiatives related to packaging materials, labor, efficiency, transportation, and storage for existing / new packaging designs.
Responsible for product information collection、drawing distribution and file management. Ensure work flow conforms

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in a science, engineering or packaging discipline
>1 year of professional experience in packaging industry. Sophisticated in AutoCAD, AI, or Solidworks
Experience in managing multiple tasks, often with competing deadlines
Professional, highly-motivated, reliable, and solutions-orientated ISO standards.
