Summary Of The Position

 

The Contract Sourcing Specialist, APAC will partner with the Senior Talent Acquisition (TA) Partner to support talent acquisition needs for the APAC region within Sealed Air.  The successful individual will be responsible for using innovative sourcing strategies to attract the most qualified candidate for each position in a timely manner.  In addition, the individual will help develop a pipeline of passive candidates for critical future hiring needs. The individual will be focused on ensuring a positive experience for candidates.  


The successful individual can base in our office in Shanghai Qingpu Plant, China or can be home base.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to develop a sourcing plan based on hiring needs.
  • Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates including screening, timely feedback and ensure that every candidate has a positive candidate experience
  • Develops strong understanding of Sealed Air business, competitive landscape and overall strategy to increase recruiting effectiveness
  • Support and collaboratively drive the identification and creation of innovative new strategies to attract and assess talent
  • Leverage the use of all direct recruitment channels, including internal and external job resources and all potential candidate touch points such as social media, employee referral programs, lead generation sources, alumni networks, professional associations, conferences and events
  • Conduct phone screens with candidates and provide feedback to the Sr TA Partner 
  • Provide an overview of the Sealed Air business, employee benefits, opportunities for development and create a compelling vision to potential candidates about Sealed Air
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study 
  • 2+ years’ experience in full cycle recruiting or sourcing role requiring passive candidate identification and assessment using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • 1+ years’ experience recruiting for countries in the APAC region
Qualifications
  • Ability to develop and execute a recruiting strategy using innovative sourcing methods based on the job requirements
  • Strong understanding and ability to recruit for all levels of the organization
  • Highly collaborative, responsive and excellent communication skills
  • Customer focused and ensures highest level of candidate satisfaction
  • Demonstrated ability to build networks and leverage external best practices to build a talent pipeline
  • Up to date on progressive recruiting methods and uses to identify & recruit talent
  • Displays Sealed Air core competencies: Customer Obsessed, Ownership Mentality, Agile through Adversity and Never Totally Satisfied
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
  • Knowledge of employment laws related to hiring employees
  • Proven track record of success in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Proficient using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing channels in different countries in the APAC region
  • Proficient in Chinese and English both oral and written
  • Able to communicate in Japanese/Korean Language is a plus but not mandatory
