Position Summary
This production focused maintenance position will assess daily the past 24 hours performance of the Maintenance Engineering Technologists (MET), Team Maintenance Leaders (TML) and Team Maintenance Specialists (TMS), analyze the status, contact maintenance planners or other resources to develop the daily corrective action plan for repetitive issues in preparation for the daily integration meeting where he/she will present that days maintenance plan to solve or address maintenance issue in the area. The Group Maintenance Lead (GML) will be responsible for the execution of this plan as the owner of the production machines in the area. The position will implement equipment and process solutions in response to KPI action triggers. The GML will drive long-term reliability improvements through autonomous maintenance and team work between maintenance and operations.

- Bad actor analysis (B/A) process
- Growing our Operator Driven Reliability (Autonomous Maint)
- Growing our Predictive Maintenance
- Using Reliability Centered Maintenance methodology
- Executing a robust Preventive Maintenance Optimization Program
- Overhaul Planning
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership to team which includes following Performance Management System, setting expectations that align to area’s business objectives and providing routine feedback on performance.
- Monitors team performance and audit activities to ensure personnel are performing quality work, supporting a quality product and providing service to meet all Sealed Air’s goals.
- Manages the PDCA process from cradle to grave to include problem statement, root cause analysis, and counter measure implementation.
- Works with area improvement teams to identify, evaluate, and implement reliability improvement opportunities through changes to operating procedures, maintenance procedures, and equipment upgrades.
- Develop, post, and communicate procedures/processes for their area that support the Simpsonville Site Plant maintenance strategies.
- Own their area's development program which includes training, education, and hands-on experience.
- Directs the METs, TMLs and TMS and provide expertise (training, standards, SPLs)

- Ensures that work is accomplished accurately and safely by METs, TMLs and TMSs (regular audits need to be performed by the GML)
- Develop Proactive Maintenance Opportunities
- Own and update KPIs related to their MPG and drive behavior to improve performance. Ownership for standard documentation (PLC program, Drive program, HMI, equipment drawing, FMEAs)
- Responsible for maintenance financials.
- Responsible for maintenance safety.
- Responsible for work place organization (WPO)
- Ensure METs, TMLs and TMS are following proper change management
- Apply basic functions of SAP to all aspect of Asset Management
- Benchmark sister plants regularly
- Support SQF certification
- Set Stores Inventory classifications and stocking levels
- Encourage utilities cost reduction in the area (shutting off machine when not in use, turning of lamps...)
- Provides reliability support, technology expertise and best practices for design reviews, construction, operability, maintainability and standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or technical field preferred
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Demonstrated safety commitment.
- Positive interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Process and Instrumentation diagrams, electrical schematics, mechanical layout and design.
- Positive work history with an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Computer aptitude, to include proficiency in MS Office, to include Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Visio, and Project Management.
- Autocad knowledge preferred.
- SAP PM experience preferred.
