Job Description

 

Coordinate the collection and shipment of all samples requested by Recycled Customers, Research and Development Engineers for Waste Products.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains orderly and safe working environment at all times.
  • Conduct Scrap Surveys
  • Periodically conduct surveys as needed on waste stream components, monitor survey procedures and record and summarize data.  Specific tasks will include:
    • -  Review of procedures and training for recorders
    • -  Daily summarization of results by product and department numbers
    • -  Final summary of survey results
    • - Input of Data into Computer program for Customer Sales for   Reclaim Products.
    • - Monthly input of information relative to products sold each customer by type and volume.
  • To prepare bill of ladings
  • To arrange the pick-up for all scrap each morning
  • To record scrap totals each day which shows how many pounds of scrap leave the warehouse.
  • To insure that all trailers are in the dock doors and have been properly loaded.
  • To work closely with warehousing for scrap
  • To check and make sure all materials are separated and shipped to the customer
  • To inspect scrap warehouse weekly for cleanliness and organization
  • To work closely with Ameri-Pak ( new recycling center ) to maintain sufficient amounts of Repro resin to various customers
  • To check, approve bills and authorize payments
  • To compile monthly reports of all scrap materials
  • To communicate ways to make sure the best methods are being used to recycle all materials
  • To be able to communicate by phone, computer, fax and in person to carry out business
  • To work independently without supervision
  • To be able to make decisions on my own
  • Arrange for pickup of scrap each morning
  • Prepare bill of ladings
  • Record scrap totals each day of lbs. of scrap going out to warehouse.
  • Check each morning to insure card board trailer, laminate trailer, film trailer, are in dock doors and have been properly loaded.
  • Make sure all recycle paper bins have been maintained.
  • Work closely with Ameri-Pak to maintain sufficient amounts of scrap to keep process going. Schedule shipments of Repro resin to various customers and maintain spread sheet reports to Corporate.
  • Check and approve bills from Ameri-Pak and send to Duncan for payment.
  • Compile monthly reports of all scrap material.
  • Work closely with corporate recycle personnel to meet goals.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of experience
