Job Description

 

Mission:

To pioneer new markets and product opening within a defined geographic sales region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • To manage an agreed list of key target market opening projects within your territory.
  • To provide argumentation and promotional support for key market targets
  • To coordinate technical support for key market targets.
  • To provide account and sales management with market boosting support.
  • To identify strategic market opening opportunities
  • To work with local communications team to promote and open targeted markets
  • To build strong links with the Sales, Sector Managers, Portfolio Directors, Application and R&D functions to support target market developments.
  • It is envisaged that that this role does not manage account on a long term basis, although this can be possible if it is the start-up of a new account as part of a project

 

Success defined by:

 

  • Delivering overall sales, margin and profit goals within target markets
  • Growth in your defined project and market areas.
  • Installation of equipment systems for targeted markets
  • Well motivated, organised and trained sales/ sales support teams.

 

Requirements

 

  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong sales, presentation and influencing skills
  • Leader able to coach and energise sales teams
  • Ability to liase, influence and coordinate across functions and countries.
  • Market and analytical capability with ability to capitalise on market/customer needs.
  • Creativity to develop sales strategies and customer argumentation  
  • Good communication skills combined with willingness to embrace new ideas.
