What does a EHS Analyst do?
Manages the day-to-day business policies, processes and procedures and build our position within ‘Best in Class’ Business Management Processes, helping to continue the development of a strong safety culture and delivering “Zero Harm”. A forward-thinking, preventative approach with a ‘Can Do’ attitude will be critical to deliver what is required here.
Ensures safe working practices are followed daily and compliance is maintained to the highest standard through the implementation and proper use of EHS systems and practices.
Takes an active and visible role within the Plant, engaging with all Plant Team members to ensure Health, Safety, Environmental and legal requirements are maintained during all stages of the manufacturing process and successful operation of the Plant.

- To use your talent to maintain EHS, systems and procedures for the plant, and ensuring we are compliant with all relevant legislation. Ensure that internal safety standards are achieved, positively identifying issues, and swiftly resolving these through improvement actions. Drive the improvement of the EHS management through analysis of performance and data, following through with the implementation of identified actions.
- To use your communication and training skills to manage the successful completion of Corporate/online training programs to ensure the up-to-date safety awareness of the Team and to support in-house training with employees about health and safety issues and risks management.
- To use your knowledge and experience to lead incident and accident investigations onsite and report to relevant authorities when required. Create safety bulletin notices to share with Plant Team and wider organization, maintaining records of inspection findings, develop actions and produce reports that will drive improvements. Maintain records of incidents and accidents and produce statistics for the Management Team.
- You will be the subject matter expert with making changes to working practices to ensure legislation and legal compliance is maintained, keeping the Plant Team up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all HSE legislation and any developments that affect the industry. You will also support/lead internal/external EHS audits and subsequent corrective actions that may be identified for improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience and or knowledge of ISO Systems and ISO H&S Management Systems.
- Understanding of Lean Six Sigma Methodologies and World Class Manufacturing Practices.
- Written and spoken communication skills. Good understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Ideally the candidate would have a NEBOSH qualification.
