What does a Quality & EHS Coordinator do?

Manages the day to day business Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety policies, processes and procedures, to help build our position within ‘Best in Class’ Business Management Processes throughout the Plant. Takes an active role within the plant, to ensure H&S, environmental and Product Quality is always maintained to the highest possible standards throughout the business at all times. 

Why we need you?

  • To use your talent to maintain and, where needed, update the quality standards, systems and procedures for the plant and ensuring we are compliant specifically with BRC standards.
  • To sue your knowledge and experience to assist with the improvement of the quality management procedures through analysis of performance and data following through with the implementation of identified actions. 
  • You will play an active role reviewing customer requirements and ensuring that they are met including following up on customer returns and permanent corrective actions.
  • To ensure that internal quality standards are achieved, positively identifying issues and swiftly resolving these through improvement processes. Also ensure the training plans across the business support the quality expectations.
  • To use your leading skills to influence and monitor site performance on Quality, Environmental and H+S issues by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports to be displayed throughout the plant for Visual Factory.
  • To assist with making changes to working practices that are safe and comply with legislation, outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take account of all relevant hazards and in-house training with employees about health and safety issues and risks management.
  • To maintaining records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements and records of incidents and accidents and producing statistic reports for the Management Team.


  • Experience and or knowledge of ISO Quality Management Systems and ISO H&S Management Systems.
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma Methodologies and World Class Manufacturing Practices.
  • Written and spoken communication skills.
  • Highly experienced with BRC practices and standards
