Job Description

 

A Sales Development Representative job in Streetsboro, OH is currently available at Sealed Air’s Automated Packaging Systems.  You will be responsible for outbound prospecting and qualifying new sales leads from website, inbound phone inquiries and trade shows and entering the information into CRM. Works with Sales and Distribution to move prospects and customers from point of first contact to identifying customer needs and recommending potential solutions.  Assign lead to Inside Sales or Field Sales once it becomes a Sales Qualified Lead.

 

  • Qualify inbound leads by phone, email, trade shows and social media to generate new business opportunities. Identify and contact qualified decision makers. Perform the necessary steps to move the prospect to a Sales Qualified Lead (SQL).  Leverage marketing materials including APS website, case studies, data sheets and sample ROIs to help educate the end user.  Start to develop a relationship and look to uncover potential applications and projects that are both short and long term.
  • Identify prospects and decision makers by performing database research and other prospecting activities.  Work closely with the sales team to develop targeted lists, call strategies and messaging to drive opportunities for new business. Follow up on companies that have been targeted in our marketing campaigns and lead nurturing processes through email and social channels.  Secure key prospect information to identify and qualify sales qualified leads and others to be nurtured for future opportunities.
  • Achieve individual sales and performance goals based upon the assigned Metrics and Revenue goals.  The metrics include number of calls, emails, conversations, contact rates, SQLs, pipeline conversion, quote rate and other assigned activities and revenue goals. 
  • Assign and transition the details and next steps for the SQL to the appropriate Inside Sales or Field Sales
     
Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business degree preferred) or equivalent job experience.  
  • 2 – 4 years of Sales development or Inside Sales experience required. 
  • Results-oriented team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, strong interpersonal skills and a solid work ethic. 
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office, CRM, video communications and Social media skills (LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
